Being impressed with the cultural show of our differently abled children , the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Shri M.M.Rajendran declared a “Governor’s Award” to be given each year to the Best Student of Sahaya. The same is given on Red Cross Day i,e. on 8th May.

Intellectual Disabled children of Sahaya are participating in International Dance & drama Festival for the Differently Abled i.e, SAMBHAV at NewDelhi since 2008.

Sahaya organized street plays & Performing Art class in the National child Labour Project Schools with the help of UNICEF.

Students of Sahaya performed in a “Ashabari” a dance drama on child labourers in Annual Functions.

Students performed “Rangabati Folk Dance” in Rang Mahotsav at Azamgarh, Uttarpradesh. .

Sasmita Routray, a Special Educator of Sahaya was selected and participated in “World Summer Games” held at Berlin, Germany as a
Coach of India in Basket Ball.

Students of Sahaya participated to perform Cultural programme in INTERNATIONAL PURPLE FEST-2024 at Kala Academy Goa.

Students of Sahaya participated in Divya Kala Shakti and performed cultural programme at various states like Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, Raipur etc.

An autistic student of Sahaya participated in Jhoom International Talent Hunt Award programme of Shantidham Foundation, Bhubaneswar and have been selected as best singer in top ten list.

An Odia Movie “Sapana Tie – A dream” based on the life story of a differently abled was produced by Ichharam Foundation and and directed by Milan Das , Maguni Patro an intellectual disable student of Sahaya was the leading actor in the movie.

Deepak Dash is an autistic and hyperactive boy of 24 years of age a student of Sahaya with special attention of special school he is also pursuing his study in Bhusan Purna in Odissi Voccal Music at Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy, Bhubaneswar after completing Bhusan Adya in First division. He is a good singer of odia chhanda, champu, bhajan and janana. He sung odia chhanda, champu, bhajan and janana in Sarthak Music a prominent channel of Odisha.
