Welcome to SAHAYA
Official Website

The Red Cross of XV of 1920, Aims & objects 3(xiii) clearly states that Red Cross should also work for “welfare of disabled, aged, destitute, orphans.” Red Cross is not only sensitive to the needs of the “Loud Emergencies” like disasters but is also sensitive to the “Silent Emergencies” which occur in the lives of the disabled, disadvantaged & other vulnerable groups. With this objective in mind Sahaya was born on 1st October, 1991 in an asbestos shed inside Blood Bank Campus, Mangalabag, Cuttack. Sahaya is an unit of Orissa State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society. Orissa State Branch has constituted a managing committee to look into the day-to-day administration of Sahaya.
